چکیده
It is shown, that specific chirality and flavor properties of the instanton-induced interaction allow us to explain the observed violation Ellis-Jaffe and Gottfried sum rules. A large value of these violations originates from the anomalous growth of the instanton-induced interaction between quarks at high energy. The new sum rule which connect the values of violations of Ellis-Jaffe and Gottfried sum rules have been obtained.

New experimental results on the spin dependent structure functions g 1 and g 2 which are determined from deep-inelastic scattering experiments at CERN, SLAC and DESY are reported. These results are used to evaluate the Bjorken sum rule and the singlet axial charge a 0. Results are discussed in the framework of next-to-leading order perturbative QCD. The role of the polarised gluons in the inter...

Results are presented on inclusive measurements of the spin structure function g 1 (x). The world's data on spin–dependent deep inelastic scattering are summarized. Results from recent Next–to–Leading Order (NLO) QCD analyses are given. They provide another successful test of QCD. The uncertainties arising from the low–x extrapolation of the inclusive data in absence of any measurement prevent ...

We show that the instanton model of the QCD vacuum indicates the parametric smallness of the twist-3 contributions to the polarized structure function h L. This smallness is related to the diluteness of the QCD instanton vacuum. 1. Among higher twist parton distributions the twist-3 distributions play a special role. In many physical observables the twist-3 distributions enter not suppressed by...

We estimate the contribution of inelastic nucleon excitations to the (e, e ′) inclusive cross section in the CEBAF kinematic range. Calculations are based upon parameter-izations of the nucleon structure functions measured at SLAC. Nuclear binding effects are included in a vector-scalar field theory, and are assumed have a minimal effect on the nucleon excitation spectrum. We find that for q < ...

Hadronic decays of the τ lepton provide a clean source to study hadron dynamics in an energy regime dominated by resonances, with the interesting information captured in the spectral functions. Recent results on exclusive channels are reviewed. Inclusive spectral functions are the basis for QCD analyses, delivering an accurate determination of the strong coupling constant and quantitative infor...
